Sustainable Organization Management
3rd International Scientific Conference of the PUEB Institute of Management
21–22 October 2026
Join us for the third edition of the conference on Sustainable Organization Management, hosted by the Institute of Management at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB). Building upon our commitment to addressing particularly pressing business challenges and strategic research directions, this conference serves as a platform to unite scholars and practitioners in exploring innovative solutions for sustainable management practices.
We are proud to announce Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing Sp. z o.o. (SEPM) as our strategic partner for this year’s event.
Samsung is one of the world’s leading suppliers of electronics and home appliances. The company has production facilities worldwide. Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing Sp. z o.o. (SEPM), located in Wronki, is Samsung’s key production center in Europe, specializing in the production of refrigerators and washing machines. The continuous drive toward modern technologies is achieved, among other things, through investment activities and the optimization of production and logistics processes. The factory, operating since 2010, continuously invests in increasing production capacity, offering advanced technological lines and manufacturing components in-house. Samsung’s modern home appliances provide previously unattainable comfort, ease of use and functionality.
The conference themes revolve around striking a balance between societal needs and environmental sustainability (sustainable production and consumption), the real world and the virtual world (digital ecology) and, as in the previous edition, between economic and social goals (sustainable development management).
Areas to be addressed include:
1. Artificial intelligence and sustainable organizational management
2. ESG Integration: Exploring the Economic, Social and Governance aspects of organizational sustainability strategies.
3. Digital Ecology: Navigating the intersection of the real and virtual worlds to promote environmental sustainability.
4. Closed-Loop Economy: Implementing circular economy principles within organizational frameworks.
5. Responsible Management: Cultivating ethical leadership and governance practices.
6. Sustainability Reporting: Communicating transparently on sustainability initiatives and impacts.
7. Environmental and Social Sustainability: Advancing practices that prioritise environmental and social well-being.
8. Sustainable Human Resource Management (SHRM): Fostering employee well-being and engagement within sustainable frameworks.
9. Risk Management: Mitigating environmental, social, and governance risks within organizations.
10. Sustainable Production and Consumption: Promoting environmentally friendly production and consumption patterns.
11. Sustainable Resource Management: Efficient management of organizational resources to minimise environmental impact.
12. Sustainable Supply Chains: Building resilient and sustainable supply chain networks.
Join us as we delve into these critical topics through engaging discussions, collaborative workshops, and insightful presentations. Together, let’s pave the way for a more sustainable future.
